Halogen Director, Iain McMenemy, has been asked to write a blog for the Kissimmee Convention & Visitors Bureau. A regular visitor to Florida, Iain will be writing about local events and attractions during a week's stay in July. Iain will be the first international blogger to write for the agency.
Iain said, "I hope to bring a unique international perspective to the blog. My family and I have visited on many occasions and we think Kissimmee is a wonderful place for a vacation. I hope I can convey this through my updates and encourage more people to visit and stay."
HALOGEN WINS NEW CAMPUS GLASGOW PITCH 
Halogen has won the contract to manage public relations, public affairs, stakeholder relations and events for the New Campus Glasgow project, after a competitive pitch. New Campus Glasgow is a visionary project to create an inspiring, flexible learning environment for New College Glasgow (the new College being created through the merger of Glasgow’s famous city centre Colleges: Central, Metropolitan and Nautical). It will be home to around 1,500 staff and 40,000 students and will become the new heart of the city’s thriving learning quarter.
STERLING SUPPORT FROM THE BANK 
Halogen has been rewarded for its sterling support with an extended contract from the British Bankers’ Association to manage events, public relations and public affairs in Scotland. The British Bankers’ Association is the not-for-profit trade association which represents banks operating in the UK. It represents more than 200 banking members from 60 countries, plus a further 60 associated professional firms.

Halogen has been chosen to provide PR services to the Scottish Mining Museum. Located just outside Edinburgh, the Museum offers visitors the chance to learn about the cultural and economic history of mining in Scotland.

Communications is now able to offer Ethical Leadership Seminars as part of their growing Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programmes. Led by one of Scotland’s leading QCs, Donald Findlay, the seminars will help businesses develop a better understanding of where ethics should feature in modern businesses and organisations. Donald, who has a Degree in Ethics, leads Halogen’s CPD and Media Training programmes.
